Description

The shape of the D-Contact lure gives off a lean mass typical of floating lures and therefore of small prey. However, the height of the body and the distribution and calculation of the 18 tungsten weighted points make this lure a heavy sinking lure that allows you to reach distance and depth and improve accuracy. The distribution of these masses (law of inertia) gives this Smith lure the dynamic movement of a body in perpetual torsion trying to re-establish its position. The flat spectrum (achromatic colour in all lighting conditions) of the broken rings and hooks avoids alerting predators with supernatural flashes of light. The D-Contact series can fish hollow where other lures won't. Its animation consists in bringing it back in a linear but jerky way (small strokes of scions) or working it up and down (waterfalls, rocky bars, low walls) rod high, a bit like a "manié".

Incontournable

Le leurre incontournable en début de saison pour la truite. L'armement est un peu fragile, il est intéressant de le remplacer par des hameçons simples.
