Designed for fishermen who don't stop when the thermometer drops, the Finntrail Tournament winter suit combines an insulated jacket and overalls into a complete technical set. Designed to face intense cold, wet snow, and biting wind, it provides reliable protection down to -20°C, without compromising on mobility or comfort during long sessions on the ice.
Both pieces of the Tournament suit are made from a two-layer fabric incorporating the Toray Dermizax membrane®, recognized for its performance in extreme weather conditions. With a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm and a breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24h, this set effectively keeps out external moisture while wicking away sweat. The DWR C6 treatment applied to the outer face prevents the fabric from becoming waterlogged, while all seams and zippers are fully heat-sealed, guaranteeing total waterproofness even in prolonged contact with snow or water.
Both the jacket and the overalls benefit from high-performance insulation made from DuPont™ Sorona® fibers, known for their ability to retain body heat without weighing down the outfit. Microfleece panels in the lining enhance thermal comfort in strategic areas. The result: constant warmth, even on the longest winter days, without feeling suffocated.
The jacket Tournament features a fleece-lined high collar with chin guard, an adjustable double adjustment hood fitted with a laminated visor, and a lengthened jacket bottom with drawstring to effectively block the wind. The integrated snow skirt prevents snow from sneaking in during sudden movements. The construction of the sleeves, without a shoulder seam, frees up movement and facilitates prolonged casting.
The adjustable outer cuffs with velcro and the inner microfleece cuffs with integrated thumbs keep warmth right down to your fingers. In terms of storage, the jacket offers four external pockets (two chest, two side fleece-lined) and two internal zippered pockets to protect your electronic devices from the cold. Rubberized attachments and D-rings allow you to easily attach fishing tools and safety lines.
Designed for action, the overalls Tournament incorporates 3D articulated knees and a ergonomic leg cut for absolute freedom during movements, kneeling, or drilling holes. High-wear areas – knees, inner seams, lower legs, and seat – are reinforced with abrasion-resistant material for increased durability season after season.
The integrated gaiters with boot hooks seal off the boot entrance against snow and moisture. The adjustable straps, velcro closures at the waist, and zipped leg openings allow for precise adjustment. Three types of pockets – fleece-lined chest, zippered, and cargo thigh – provide functional and accessible storage even with gloves.
