Hard baits

The fishing with hard bait is very popular in many practices and clearly offers the biggest choice on the market.

Available in different shapes and different sizes, these lures offer a great variety of animation: sinking fish, floating fish with or without beads, with or without lip, thanks to them no species of predators will escape your tracking at sea or in freshwater.

With a very realistic design, and perfect finish, the hard bait is one of the lures that most resemble a real fish. Its technicality allows for perfect swimming even at high speed, but above all, it can be declined in multiple animations to adapt to the way the fish you are looking for feeds.

The Poppers

The popper is a hard lure that does not have a bib, which allows it to stay on the surface of the water throughout its action.

Its beveled or curved face, depending on the model, will emit a spray of water when the lure is towed, a sound often in the tone of a "Pop" (hence the name) will result.

The Pop is created thanks to the air bubbles trapped under water, due to the particular face of the Popper, once these bubbles are released they burst.

It is a wise choice for tracking aggressive predators or predators for whom mealtime has sounded.

The Stickbaits

This is a lure that can be floating or sinking thanks to a bib. A stickbait will spend most of its time on the surface and will only dive a few times in very brief depths.

Although a beginner can use it, it is important to know that it is probably the swimbait where the fisherman has the most influence on the swim.

Indeed, models not equipped with bibs will have to be animated in a certain way to obtain the vibrations that will make you benefit from the performances of such a lure.

You will also have to manage the recovery speed, and the amplitude of the movements of your rod, if you do not master these different elements it will be difficult to fully enjoy the performances of this type of lure.

The Propbaits

A Propbait is a hard lure that is equipped with propellers. This addition allows it to establish visual signs and vibrations that predators love and perceive from great distances.

The Jerkbaits

A Jerkbait has an elongated body that resembles a real fish, it sometimes has a bib to make it evolve at greater depth.

This type of lure can also be found in the soft lure family, it is necessary to make sure that it is a hard lure and not the other way around.

Several types of jerkbait exist, it can be sinking, suspending or floating, each one will be more or less adapted to your needs and the conditions you will face.

It is a perfect solution for surveying large areas. You can animate it in different ways, in stop & go, by jerking it or twitching.

The Lipless Minnow

This is a hard lure without a lip, i.e., without a bib, sinking. The lipless minnow will vibrate when retrieved to attract all attention to it.

It is a good choice if you want to cast long distances and fish in open water.

The Crankbaits

This chunky hard lure has a head that is often bigger than its body, when equipped with a bib it will become a speed monster and will oscillate at full speed to drive all surrounding predators crazy.

The peculiarity of the crankbait makes it move a large volume of water, sometimes noisy it will be versatile for all kinds of fishing. Depending on the brand, it may evolve at great depths reaching 10 meters.

The Swimbaits

These lures, also called Bigbait, swimbait or articulated lures, are very realistic representations of real fish.

During retrieval, it will naturally take an S swim. This swim allows it to make very rapid changes of direction, making it even more irresistible to various predators.

The Insects

These swimbaits insects are very special and will meet very specific needs. You can find all kinds of insects or other creatures such as frogs, ducks, rats, etc.

Predators sometimes have sudden desires to change their diets and vary their pleasures, their gluttony could this time harm them.

Other Swimbaits

In the category of other swimbaits, you will have the opportunity to equip yourself with unique lures that often have hybrid bodies that will meet specific needs like insect lures.

Like the Westin Freddy The Frog Wakebait that has a frog head and ends with an articulated tail and insect legs, it will be a hit with black-bass and pike.

The Crawler Zacrawl Yajirobee Junior from Adusta is also a good example with a very particular swim and a unique body with two wings and a slit face reminiscent of Poppers.
